The Vincentians

Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, known as Vincentians, do the work of serving the poor in their neighborhoods and their communities. Based on the tradition of founder Frederic Ozanam and patron St. Vincent de Paul, members of the Society are drawn from every ethnic and cultural background, age, and economic level.

Vincentians are united in an international society of charity, linked by the values of poverty, humility and sharing. Nourished by prayer and reflection, Vincentians regularly hold mutually supportive gatherings.

Organized locally, Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charity and justice. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul collaborates with other people of good will in alleviating need and addressing its root causes, making no distinction in those served.
