Volunteer

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul serves all persons in need - regardless of creed, opinion, color, caste, or origin. Those who volunteer with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul consider themselves especially blessed as the assistance they provide promotes human dignity and integrity. They do not simply provide a loaf of bread or a blanket to those in need; they also bring help to those who are discouraged, tenderness to the abused, and courage for those confronting hardship.

SVdP Service Learning Curriculum

If you are working with youth and want to find ways to tap into their idealist energy, please download the inaugural version of our Service Learning Curriculum Guide, 2007.

We have compiled and edited this information from an array of sources but there were costs relative to design and printing. We would greatly appreciate a contribution of $25.00 for the sharing of this material with you and your youth in the community.

To donate, click here. To download the document click here. (10.3 Mb pdf)

And please do offer us feedback on this effort, we are just beginning to better structure and help interpret the possible service learning experiences here at SVdP so please download our evaluation form and send it on back.

And if you are inspired by all this, and want to get a group scheduled, please contact our Volunteer coordinator at (510) 877-9237 and also streamline the process by completing the Youth Volunteer Form prior to arrival. Thank you for encouraging another generation to step up and serve!
