The Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
SVdP is governed by a Board of Trustees with individual committees that monitor key operations, including a Finance & Audit Committee. SVdP’s finances are audited annually by an independent accounting firm, RINA Accountancy Corporation.
SVdP’s operating budget includes more than $2 million in donated food. The organization relies upon diversified funding: individual donations, corporate donors, private foundation grants, and government funding. SVdP also relies heavily on its Social Enterprises division – retail stores, Redux Studios & Gallery, auto donation program and the sale of recyclable materials.
