About Us
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a nonprofit organization that provides direct assistance to needy men, women and children.Mission Statement
Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization that leads people to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering.
Based on the tradition of founder Frederic Ozanam and patron St. Vincent de Paul, members of the Society, who are known as Vincentians, are drawn from every ethnic and cultural background, age, and economic level.
Vincentians are united in an international society of charity, linked by the values of poverty, humility and sharing. Nourished by prayer and reflection, Vincentians regularly hold mutually supportive gatherings.
Organized locally, Vincentians witness God’s love by embracing all works of charities and justice. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul collaborates with other people of good will in alleviating need and addressing its root causes, making no distinction in those served.
