Donate Electronics

We accept contributions of a wide range of electronics through our WasteNot enterprise. Your old computers, televisions and cell phones help provide job training to the disadvantaged. SVdP receives revenue from recycling your electronics, and you can be assured that your equipment enters a safe, reliable recycling stream – saving our landfills. To view a complete list of electronics (working or not) that SVdP can accept, please check our Donation List for items we are always happy to see.

We regret that we are unable to accept items containing hazardous materials, paint, oil, or allergens such as pet hair, stains and odors, fluorescent light bulbs, batteries, gas appliances/tools, dishwashers, outdoor grills, water heaters and softeners. Refrigerators and electric washers and dryers are currently being accepted but must be dropped off at our Oakland Donation Center located at 9235 San Leandro Street.

Please call (510) 638-7600 if you are unsure about items you would like to donate. Some things simply don’t sell well in our stores or they are items that we are unable to recycle, while other items are difficult for us to handle. We thank you in advance for your consideration.

Check the list below for Bundle Sunday/Electronic Recycling events in your neighborhood. You can also drop off at one of our retail stores (with the exception of large appliances as noted above). Call our donation line at 510-638-7600 with questions or to schedule a bulk pickup.
