Volunteers: Neighbors Helping Neighbors in Alameda County

Current SVdP Volunteers, log in here to view your schedule, update your profile and more: Volunteer Information Center

The heart and soul of all the work we do, SVdP Alameda Volunteers donate tens of thousands of hours every year to lend a hand. Over 2,000 individuals -- either by themselves or as part of a group -- came to SVdP in the past year to serve their neighbors. We invite you to join them!

Volunteers help with all aspects of the organization, from serving food in the Free Dining Room to providing administrative support, delivering groceries to low-income families to helping maintain our buildings. In all cases, volunteers help to promote human dignity and improve the lives of the poor. To view the list of current Volunteer Opportunities, click here. Questions?
