Helping Haiti

(January 13, 2008) Oakland CA -- Our hearts and prayers are with the people of Haiti. Please help us funnel appropriate resources to Haiti for earthquake recovery. The National St. Vincent de Paul organization is coordinating aid directly to the local St. Vincent de Paul groups in Haiti.

As with any disaster, direct cash donations are much easier to manage, more flexible and responsive for those providing relief to the people of Haiti. With the transportation logistics and infrastructure damage in Haiti, cash donations are even more vital.
