Job Training
Many of those who visit SVdP’s Community Center campus have the desire to work but face challenges that seem insurmountable – many have been out of work for years, many lack basic skills. A number of clients have little idea how to approach employers or develop a resume. SVdP’s job training programs were developed to help people overcome these hurdles, reconnect with the workplace and find living-wage employment.
The Kitchen of Champions and the Champion Work Force offer hands-on training supported by workforce readiness classes to help people move forward in their lives.
