SVdP Receives Chamber 2009 Community Service Award
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is honored to be the recipient of the Oakland Chamber of Commerce 2009 Community Service Award. The 104th annual awards ceremony celebrated Oakland people and organizations who have demonstrated excellence. SVdP Executive Director Philip Arca accepted the award, noting that the organization is honored to be recognized for its basic services as well as its job training programs.
