If you don't have a valentine, February can feel, well, a little blah.  We want to get your creative ideas going and give you a jump start on your spring projects.  Read on to get ideas for some great DIYs to spice up your weekends, and your home.
  1. Dishes: You can find mismatched dishes in a range of colors and patterns at our store. If you stick to one colorway you can buy mismatched dishes and make them look like a chic set of vintage.
  2. Artwork: If you're thinking of hanging a wall of artwork, look no further than SVDP for a range of beauties for your great collection.  The best way to give your wall cohesion, is to select a common frame color or similarity in the art and stick to it.  The wall below uses light or white frames and peaches and pinks to bring everything together.

  1. Sweaters and Blankets: Give these a good wash (almost all blankets and sweaters can be washed in cold water and laid out to dry), and then use them to add great color and style by covering pillows or creating a chair reupholstered in a great blanket.

  1. Dining Chairs: Whether you're looking for a whole set or just one, we have a ton of choices for you.  If you don’t find one that suits your style, make a simple change like a reupholstered seat or new paint job.
  2. Lamps: You may find your perfect lamp in the huge selection we have or give it a new look with a chic new shade.
There are a lot of projects that can bring you satisfaction and happiness without spending a lot of money.  Stop in to see us this month to get going on your next one!
