SVdP of Alameda County is an independently incorporated 501(c)3 governed by a Vincentian volunteer Board of Trustees. SVdP receives grants and donations from public partners, foundations, corporations, individuals, and Vincentian Conferences. All donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Alameda County stay in Alameda County.
Individual committees monitor key operations, including a Finance & Audit Committee. Finances are audited annually by an independent accounting firm. SVdP’s operating budget includes more than $1.2 million dollars in donated food. SVdP relies heavily on its Social Enterprises division, which includes two retail stores in Fremont and Livermore.
