The mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul of Alameda County is to provide essential support to our neighbors who are homeless, housing insecure, or living in poverty. By providing food, clothing, access to healthcare, and job training assistance we can offer individuals a hand up to help stabilize their lives. Our organization is made up of dedicated staff and volunteers who work together to serve this mission.
Changing Lives"It can be lonely in our lives and coming here is good. I get food and I am here today to get clothing. The podiatry clinic has helped me enormously. It has always been easier for me to give than to receive, but when I come here I meet people and that is wonderful. It is good to listen to people’s stories. There is understanding here and I am very grateful SVdP is here."
