We need help at our shelter! Shifts are 5 pm to 10 pm Friday to Sunday.

We are also looking for volunteers to help prepare our take-away meals. Shifts are 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm on Mondays and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Tuesdays through Saturdays.  If you are interested, please click the button below to apply and contact our volunteer team at volunteer@svdp-alameda.org or (510) 877-9252.

VOLUNTEER

Embracing an attitude of gratitude can transform a life.
We are grateful for the volunteers and donors who help our community every day.
Join us in our mission to serve those in greatest need.
Anyone serving at our Oakland location must either be fully vaccinated (including two week period from final shot) or provide a negative COVID test from within the past 7 days.
This is to comply with 'State Public Health Officer Order of July 26, 2021.' Thanks for your help!
Check us out on Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube!

Changing Lives

Picture
"St. Vincent de Paul helped me with my kids and with the domestic violence that I had been dealing with. They helped me get information on organizations to help me get to a safe house.
I don’t know what would’ve happened to me and my children without St. Vincent."
